A FIRST…Brisbane to King Island direct. This tour has been specially created to take out all the hassle of changing aircraft in Melbourne to reach the stunning courses of Tasmania’s King Island. Our Alliance Airlines charter jet has room for 80 passengers but we are taking just 40 people. That equals comfort, fun, relaxation and no luggage restrictions.

The great photo on this page was snapped by our 2023 tour golfer Jared Stegman, who captured the majesty of the Cape Wickham lighthouse which is a wonderful backdrop to the par four 14th hole and the course’s memorable closing stretch.

Depart Brisbane at 7.15am on Saturday, May 4 on our Alliance Airlines jet. Be ready to tee off on the marvellous Ocean Dunes layout later that morning.

Relax after a long day in quality accommodation at the Cape Wickham Lodges or intimate accommodation in Currie. Get prepared for Sunday and Monday rounds at Cape Wickham, the course ranked No.3 in Australia. Breathtaking is one word. The women’s tees are well set and we had one mid-handicapper revel in 43 stableford points on our November, 2023 tour.

Enjoy two nights on King Island. Green fees and carts for three rounds of golf, all transfers and competition prizes are included in this fully-hosted package with golf writer-tour guide Jim Tucker.

For those who prefer an island tour instead of a third round of golf, you can enjoy a coach tour taking in the scenery of King Island be it the lighthouse, shipwreck sites, the calcified forest, the King Island Dairy, Heidi’s gin hideaway and a gourmet lunchbox stop. If you don’t see a wallaby you get a full tour refund!

Dine at your leisure. Local crayfish, brilliantly prepared, is world class. Select Tasmanian beef if that is more your style.

Fly home with a glow on Monday evening, May 6. We had 30 travellers enjoy this tour in November 2023. Please email or call Jim on 0400 788398 for more details.
