The pilot Danny selected was outstanding—not only a skilled aviator but also an engaging guide who shared a deep knowledge of the region's geology, environment and stories.

Landing at the Painted Hills and walking through that ancient, otherworldly landscape was another moment I'll treasure forever.

I especially enjoyed their trips to Kangaroo Island for the KI Cup annual race carnival and, this year, their stunning tours out of Adelaide to William Creek and Lake Eyre.

The trips to KI via Alliance Airlines private charter are superb. The hospitality in the air and the ground catering at the races are outstanding. Perched on the banks of the Cygnet River, the private area ensures privacy, with everything, including the bookies and the course, all within a minute's walk.

Truly a special day and a wonderful country fixture on South Australia's tourism gem, Kangaroo Island.

The opportunity to fly out to the outback in comfort with a small group, overnighting at the quintessential privately owned settlement of William Creek, is one not to be missed. Flying over and around Lake Eyre in flood is an experience of a lifetime. Add to that the great hospitality at the William Creek Hotel, together with a flight to the Painted Hills, where you can land and wander through a unique piece of nature.

Danny has nailed it, and his laconic style and commentary are never dull!

I recommend both of these well-organised and fantastic trips to anyone.

In June, we travelled to South Australia with Danny and fulfilled a bucket-list dream on a memorable three-day tour to Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre. We stayed at William Creek and flew in Dick Smith's Cessna Caravan to experience the breathtaking landscape from above.

Danny always made our comfort and safety a priority. He paid close attention to every detail and ensured the itinerary ran smoothly.

He is attentive to everyone in the tour group. He provides excellent food and hospitality, explains each part of the itinerary clearly, and makes sure everyone has fun.

I was very lucky to travel with Sheehan Events to Lake Eyre several weeks ago. Our wonderful host also surprised us with a trip to the Birdsville Races.
